VITAL STATISTICS AND BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT, 1952 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1953.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 14 of the Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act, 1952 (No. 8 of 1952), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act, 1952 (Commencement) Order, 1953.

2. (a) The Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act, 1952 (except section 10 thereof) shall come into operation on the 16th day of February, 1953.

(b) Section 10 of the said Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1953.
