HEALTH ACT, 1947 (DATE OF COMMENCEMENT) (No. 1) ORDER, 1948.

WHEREAS by section 3 of the Health Act, 1947 (hereinafter called " the Act ") it is enacted that the Act shall come into operation on such day or days as may be fixed therefor by order or orders of the Minister for Health either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so fixed for different purposes and different provisions of the Act :

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers so conferred on him, hereby orders as follows :—

1. Section 29 and section 44 of the act shall come into operation on the first day of March, 1948.

2. This Order may be cited as the Health Act, 1947 (Date of Commencement) (No. 1) Order, 1948.
