STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1941. No. 590.

TRADE UNION ACT, 1941 (COMMENCEMENT OF SECTION 6) ORDER, 1941.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (9) of section 6 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 (No. 22 of 1941), that the said section shall come into operation on such date not earlier than six months after the passing of the said Act as the Minister for Industry and Commerce by order appoints for that purpose :

AND WHEREAS the said Act was passed on the 23rd day of September, 1941 :

NOW, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 (No. 22 of 1941), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Union Act, 1941 (Commencement of Section 6) Order, 1941.

2. Section 6 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1942.
