STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1938. No. 320.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (FRESH MEAT) ACT, 1930 (APPLICATION TO DEAD POULTRY) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1938.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (7) of section 2 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), that the said Act, in so far as it applies or relates to dead poultry, shall come into operation on such date as shall be fixed for that purpose by order of the Minister for Agriculture:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (7) of section 2 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows, that is to say:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (Application to Dead Poultry) (Commencement) Order, 1938.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), shall, in so far as it applies or relates to dead poultry, come into operation on the 5th day of December, 1938.
