WIDOWS' AND ORPHANS' PENSIONS (UNIFIED SOCIETY'S RETURNS) REGULATIONS, 1937.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 73 and paragraph (i) of sub-section (1) of Section 65 of the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Act, 1935 , does by this his Order make the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions (Unified Society's Returns) Regulations, 1937.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 , applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the meanings hereinafter respectively assigned to them:

" the Act " means the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Act, 1935 ;

" the Minister " means the Minister for Local Government and Public Health;

" the Unified Society " means Cumann an Árachais Náisiúnta ar Shláinte.

4. The prescribed fee payable to the Unified Society under Section 73 of the Act shall be nine pence in the case of each person with respect to whose insurance the Unified Society furnishes to the Minister on a form provided by him for the purpose and duly signed on behalf of the Society such particulars as he may require for the purposes of the Act.
