GAME BIRDS PROTECTION (No. 4), ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 6 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), that whenever the Minister for Justice is satisfied that any particular species of game bird is in special need of protection in the whole or any particular portion of Saorstát Eireann, he may by Order prohibit for any specified period, not exceeding one year from the date of the Order, the killing or taking of that particular species of game bird in Saorstát Eireann or in any particular portion of Saorstát Eireann specified in the Order:

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Justice is satisfied that the species of game bird mentioned in the First Column of the Schedule to this Order is in special need of protection, and that it is expedient to protect the said species of game bird to the extent hereinafter mentioned:

NOW I, P. J. RUTTLEDGE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 6 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), and of each and every power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

(1.) The killing or taking of the species of game bird mentioned in the First Column of the Schedule to this Order, is prohibited for the period mentioned in the Second Column of the said Schedule, within the area mentioned in the Third Column of the said Schedule.

(2.) This Order may be cited as the Game Birds Protection (No. 4) Order, 1935.
