3.—So much of sub-section (1) of section 50 of the Principal Act as enacts that Dáil Eireann shall consist of one hundred and fifty-three members shall cease to have effect on the commencement of this Act, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that Dáil Eireann shall consist of one hundred and thirty-eight members returned by borough constituencies and county constituencies, together with such number of members (if any) as is for the time being required by law to be returned by university constituencies. |
