Transfer of functions to the Dublin Board of Assistance.

2.—(1) On the appointed day the Order dated the 21st day of November, 1923, and made under section 12 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (No. 9 of 1923), whereby the Board of Guardians of the Dublin Union was dissolved shall, notwithstanding anything contained in section 91 of the Principal Act, cease to have effect and the said board shall become and be finally dissolved by virtue of this section.

(2) On the appointed day the functions, powers, and duties of the Board of Guardians of the Dublin Union (including the functions, powers, and duties of the Dublin Union Committee under the joint operation of the said Order dated the 21st day of November, 1923, and section 91 of the Principal Act) shall become and be transferred to the Dublin Board of Assistance and shall thenceforward be vested in and exercisable and performed by that board.
