DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.

COURT OFFICERS ACT, 1926 (COMMENCEMENT), ORDER, 1926.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), that that Act shall come into operation on such day as shall be fixed by Order of the Minister for Justice either generally or in respect of any particular Part of that Act, and that different dates may be fixed for the commencement of different Parts of the Act:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the said Act should come into operation on the date hereinafter mentioned:

NOW I, CAOIMHGHIN O hUIGIN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the power conferred on me by sub-section 2 of Section 1 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27. of 1926), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do hereby order as follows, that is to say:

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Court Officers Act, 1926 (Commencement), Order, 1926.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), shall apply to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1926.
