I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3, 223(2)(a) and 230(2)(a) of the International Protection Act 2026 (No. 9 of 2026), hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the International Protection Act 2026 (Sections 223 and 230) (Prescribed Places) Regulations 2026. | ||
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 12 June 2026. | ||
2. Each place specified in the Schedule is a place prescribed for the purposes of sections 223 and 230 of the International Protection Act 2026 (No. 9 of 2026). | ||
