S.I. No. 208/2026 - Child Care (Amendment) Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 15th May, 2026.

I, NORMA FOLEY, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 (3) of the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 21 of 2022) (as adapted by the Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 180 of 2025 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 23rd day of June 2026 is appointed as the day on which the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 21 of 2022), insofar as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation.
