I, JENNIFER CARROLL MACNEILL, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Human Tissue (Transplantation, Post-Mortem, Anatomical Examination and Public Display) Act 2024 (No. 5 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Human Tissue (Transplantation, Post-Mortem, Anatomical Examination and Public Display) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2025. | ||
2. The 17th day of June 2025 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Human Tissue (Transplantation, Post-Mortem, Anatomical Examination and Public Display) Act 2024 (No. 5 of 2024) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) sections 1 to 36; | ||
(b) section 37(1) except paragraph (k) in so far as that paragraph relates to the deletion of Regulation 21 of the European Union (Quality and Safety of Human Organs intended for Transplantation) Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 325 of 2012 ); | ||
(c) section 105; | ||
(d) section 107; | ||
(e) section 108; | ||
(f) section 110. | ||
