Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 16th May, 2025.

I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2024 (No. 10 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2025.

2. The 19th day of May 2025 is appointed as the day on which paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of section 21 of the Road Traffic Act 2024 (No. 10 of 2024) shall come into operation.
