S.I. No. 248/2023 - Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th May, 2023.

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsections (2) and (3) of section 1 of the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (No. 24 of 2018), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2023.

2. The 22nd day of May 2026 is appointed as the day on which section 12 (insofar as it is not already in operation) of the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (No. 24 of 2018) comes into operation.
