S.I. No. 8/2023 - Regulation of Providers of Building Works and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (Appointment of Registration Body) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th January, 2023.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 8 (2) of the Regulation of Providers of Building Works and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 15 of 2022), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to section 5 (3) of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. This Order may be cited as the Regulation of Providers of Building Works and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (Appointment of Registration Body) Order 2023.

2. This Order shall come into operation on 19 January 2023.

3. The Construction Industry Federation is appointed to be the registration body to perform the functions conferred on the registration body by or under the Regulation of Providers of Building Works and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 15 of 2022).
