S.I. No. 652/2020 - Health Act 1947 (Fixed Payment Notice and Dwelling Event Provisions) (Covid-19) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2020

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st January, 2020.

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5 , 31A and 31C (inserted by section 4 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2020 (No. 19 of 2020)) of the Health Act 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) and -

(a) having regard to the immediate, exceptional and manifest risk posed to human life and public health by the spread of Covid-19 and to the matters specified in section 31A(2) of that Act,

(b) having regard also to the matters specified in section 31A(6C)(b) of that Act, and

(c) having consulted with the Minister for Justice,

hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act 1947 (Fixed Payment Notice and Dwelling Event Provisions) (Covid-19) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2020.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 18th day of December 2020.

2. The Health Act 1947 (Fixed Payment Notice and Dwelling Event Provisions) (Covid -19) Regulations 2020 ( S.I. No. 536 of 2020 ) are amended in Schedule 1, by the insertion of the following paragraphs after paragraph 6:
