S.I. No. 135/2019 - Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations 2019

I, Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22 (1) of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (No. 5 of 1997) (as adapted by the Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 364 of 2017 )), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations 2019.

2. The Irish Stock Exchange plc (Companies Registration Office registered number 539157) is hereby prescribed as a recognised stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (No. 5 of 1997).

3. The Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations 1997 ( S.I. No. 256 of 1997 ) are revoked.

These Regulations prescribe The Irish Stock Exchange plc (the successor in function to Irish Stock Exchange Limited) as a stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 .
