S.I. No. 25/2019 - Local Government Act 2019 (Transfer Day) Order 2019

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 5th February, 2019.

I, EOGHAN MURPHY, Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Local Government Act 2019 (No. 1 of 2019), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 2019 (Transfer Day) Order 2019.

2. The 31st day of May 2019 is appointed as the transfer day for the purposes of the Local Government Act 2019 .

This Order provides that, for the purposes of the Local Government Act 2019 , the transfer day on which the boundary of Cork City Council and Cork County Council will be altered is 31 May 2019.
