S.I. No. 407/2016 - Teaching Council Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 29th July, 2016.

I, RICHARD BRUTON, the Minister for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Teaching Council Act 2001 (No. 8 of 2001) (as adapted by the Education and Science (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 184 of 2010 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Teaching Council Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2016.

2. The 25th day of July 2016 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Teaching Council Act 2001 (No. 8 of 2001) come into operation:

(a) paragraph (i) of section 7(2);

(b) Part 5;

(c) section 60;

(d) Schedule 3.
