Amendment of section 43 of Act of 1996 (transfer of functions from one company to another company)

44. Section 43 of the Act of 1996 is amended by inserting after subsection (1) the following:

“(1A) Where a company is the subject of an order made under section 8 of the Harbours Act 2015, the Minister may only make an order under subsection (1) with the consent of the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government after consultation with the local authority chief executive concerned.”.
