S.I. No. 582/2013 - Local Government Act 2001 (Specified Council) (Waterford) Order 2013.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th January, 2014.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 144(1B) (inserted by section 16 (b) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) 2012 (No. 17 of 2012)) of the Local Government Act 2001 (No. 37 of 2001), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 2001 (Specified Council) (Waterford) Order 2013.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 2nd day of January 2014.

3. The specified council for the purposes of section 144 (1B) of the Local Government Act 2001 in respect of Waterford County and Waterford City shall be Waterford City.

This Order provides that Waterford City shall be the council under which a manager shall hold employment for the position of manager of Waterford County and Waterford City.
