S.I. No. 457/2013 - Local Government (Prescribed Bodies) Regulations 2013.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 3rd December, 2013.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 and section 115 of the Local Government Act, 2001 (No. 37 of 2001), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Prescribed Bodies) Regulations 2013.

2. In these Regulations-

“Local Government Management Agency” means the Local Government Management Agency established under Article 4 of the Local Government Management Agency (Establishment) Order 2012 ( S.I. No. 290 of 2012 ).

3. The Local Government Management Agency is prescribed, under section 115 (2)(a) of the Local Government Act, 2001 , as a body which shall be audited by a local government auditor in accordance with the provisions of that Act.
