S.I. No. 495/2012 - Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Notification and Control of Animal Diseases) (Amendment) Order 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 11th December, 2012.

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 , 12 and 13 of the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Notification and Control of Animal Diseases) (Amendment) Order 2012 and comes into operation on 1 January 2013.

2. The Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Notification and Control of Animal Diseases) Order 2008 ( S.I. No. 101 of 2008 ) is amended in the Schedule, (inserted by the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Notification and Control of Animal Diseases) (Amendment) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 475 of 2010 ) by the insertion after “Bovine Leucosis” of “Bovine Viral Diarrhoea”.
