Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th October, 2012.

I, BRENDAN HOWLIN, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (No. 37 of 2012), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (Commencement of Certain Provisions of Section 52) Order 2012.

2. The 1st day of November 2012 is appointed as the day on which section 52 (in so far as it has not already come into operation) of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (No. 37 of 2012) comes into operation.
