S.I. No. 200/2012 - Railway Procurement Agency (Conferral of Additional Functions) Order 2012.


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 15th June, 2012.

I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (2) of the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001 (No. 55 of 2001) (as adapted by the Transport (Alteration of Name of department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 141 of 2011 ), and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Railway Procurement Agency (Conferral of Additional Functions) Order 2012.

2. The Railway Procurement Agency shall have the function of entering into agreements with other persons to provide those persons with consulting services (including the services of members of the staff of the Agency) in relation to light railway and metro infrastructure.

The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform consents to the making of the foregoing Order.
