S.I. No. 404/2011 - Refugee Act 1996 (Travel Document and Fee) Regulations 2011.

I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 , 18 and 24 of the Refugee Act 1996 (No. 17 of 1996) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minster) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Refugee Act 1996 (Travel Document and Fee) Regulations 2011.

2. (1) These Regulations come into operation on 1 August 2011.

(2)“Act of 1996” means the Refugee Act 1996 (No. 17 of 1996).

3. The form specified in the Schedule is prescribed for the purposes of sections 4(3) and 24(5) of the Act of 1996.

4. The amount of €80 is prescribed for the purposes of sections 4(1), 18(6) and 24(3) of the Act of 1996.

5. The Refugee Act 1996 (Travel Document) Regulations 2000 ( S.I. No. 347 of 2000 ) are revoked.
