I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Decision 2010/467/EU of 17 August 20101 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. —These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2011. | ||
2. —The European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) Regulations 2004 ( S.I. No.894 of 2004 ) are amended by substituting for Regulation 2(3)(b)(ii) (inserted by the European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 777 of 2007 )), the following— | ||
“ ‘the specified organism within the meaning of Commission Decision 2007/365/EC of 25 May 2007 as amended by Commission Decision 2008/776/EC of 6 October 2008 and Commission Decision 2010/467/EU of 17 August 2010’,”. | ||
3. The European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2009 ( S.I. No. 221 of 2009 ) are revoked. | ||
