S.I. No. 132/2011 - Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2011.


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st April, 2011.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (No. 30 of 2010) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2011.

2. The 23rd day of March 2011 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 (No. 30 of 2010) come into operation—

(a) section 23(a),

(b) section 23(c),

(c) section 41(a),

(d) section 41(b), and

(e) section 49.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Further to the commencement of sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 (a)-(e), 11, 12(a)-(c), 13, 14(a) and (b), 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 39, 40, 41(c), 42, 44, 45, 46, 50(a) and (b), 51, 53, 54, 55, 56, 58, 59, 64, 65(a), (e) and (f), 66, 67, 68, 70, 71, 72, 73, 77, 78 and 81, this Order provides for the commencement of sections 23 (a) and (c), 41 (a) and (b) and 49 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 , with effect from 23rd March 2011.
