S.I. No. 12/2006 - Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 8) (Limerick) Order, 2006

An tArd-Chlaraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:-

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 8)(Limerick) Order, 2006.

2. The existing Registrars' Districts of Hospital and Kilmallock shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Kilmallock.

3. This Order shall come into operation on 16^th January 2006.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate two Registrars' Districts in the Health Service Executive Mid-Western Area for the registration of marriages, due to the recent retirement of a private Registrar.
