REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 17 AND SECTION 18) (WICKLOW) ORDER, 2004.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 17 and Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 17 and Section 18) (Wicklow) Order, 2004.

2.  The existing Registrars' Districts of Tinahely, Newcastle and Wicklow shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Wicklow.

3.  This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of September, 2004.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrar's Districts in the functional area of the East Coast Area Health Board, so as to reduce the number of Districts in that area.
