S.I. No. 236/2004 - Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2004

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2004.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources conferred on him by or under—

(a)  the Harbours Acts 1946 to 1976, and

(b)  the Harbours Act 1996 (No. 11 of 1996) (as amended by the Harbours (Amendment) Act 2000 (No. 21 of 2000)),

are delegated to John Browne, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.
