S.I. No. 656/2003 - National Beef Assurance Scheme Act, 2000 (Approval) Order, 2003

I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 1 (5) and 8 (1) of the National Beef Assurance Scheme Act, 2000 (No. 2 of 2000), hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the National Beef Assurance Scheme Act, 2000 (Approval) Order, 2003.

2.   The period for participants to apply for the grant of a certificate of approval under section 8 of the Act is extended until 31 December 2004.

The effect of this Order is to extend the period for participants to apply for approval under the National Beef Assurance Scheme.
