S.I. No. 295/2003 - The Postal Money Order (No. 2) Regulations 2003


An Post, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 23 of the Post Office Act, 1908 and Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act 1983 , hereby makes the following Scheme:

1.         These Regulations may be cited as the Postal Money Order (No. 2 Regulations 2003.

2.         Unless otherwise specified, reference to regulations followed by a number refers to the relevant regulation of this scheme.

3.         In these Regulations unless the context otherwise requires:

“The No. 1 Regulations” means the Postal Money Order (No. 1) Regulations, 2001 ( S.I. No. 485 of 2001 ).

4.         Schedule One of the No. 1 Regulations is hereby repealed and replaced with Schedule One of these Regulations.

5.         These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of July 2003.
