S.I. No. 204/2003 - National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 (Establishment Day) Order 2003


I, John O'Donoghue, Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 (No. 10 of 2003) hereby order as follows:

1.    This Order may be cited as the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 (Establishment Day) Order 2003.

2.    The 28th day of May 2003 is appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 (No. 10 of 2003).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order appoints the 28th of May to be the establishment day for the purposes of the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 (No. 10 of 2003).

The purpose of the National Tourism Development Authority Act 2003 is to establish a statutory body, the National Tourism Development Authority, to promote tourism and the development of tourism facilities and services in Ireland.
