S.I. No. 410/2000 - Copyright and Related Rights (Educational Establishments) Order, 2000

I, TOM KITT, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 55 (4) of the Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000 , (No. 28 of 2000) and the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 330 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Copyright and Related Rights (Educational Establishments) Order, 2000, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2001.

2. In this Order “the Act” means the Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000).

3. All establishments to the extent that they operate as educational establishments, which receive payments from the Exchequer in respect of their operational expenditure, are specified educational establishments for the purposes of the Act.
