S.I. No. 391/2000 - Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (Amendment) Order, 2000

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, and in the exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment)(No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977) hereby makes the following order—

1. This Order may be cited as the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (Amendment) Order, 2000.

2. The First Schedule to the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1997, is hereby amended by—

(a) inserting the words “Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act, 1998 (No. 43 of 1998)”; and

(b) substituting for the words “Copyright Acts, 1963 to 1987” the words “ Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000)”.

This Order amends the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1997 so as to delegate to Mr Tom Kitt TD, Minister for Labour, Trade and Consumer Affairs, the statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment under the Acts mentioned in paragraph 2 of the Order.
