NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR EDUCATIONAL AWARDS ACT, 1979 (DESIGNATION OF INSTITUTIONS) ORDER, 1998.

I, Micheál Martin, Minister for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 of the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (No. 30 of 1979) (as adapted by the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 81 of 1987 ), and the Education (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 430 of 1997 )), with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance and after consultation with the National Council for Educational Awards, hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) Order, 1998.

2. The institution specified in the Schedule to this Order is hereby designated as being an institution to which the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (No. 30 of 1979), applies.
