ENTERPRISE TRADE AND EMPLOYMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1997

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Enterprise. Trade and Employment and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act. 1977 (No. 28 of 1977). hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1997.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment conferred on the Minister by or under—

( a ) the Acts specified in the First Schedule to this Order and under any instrument made under any such Act. and the instruments specified in the Second Schedule to this Order, and

( b ) Part II of the Science and Technology Act. 1987 (No. 30 of 1987).

are hereby delegated to Michael Smith Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
