HARBOURS ACT, 1996 (COMPANIES) (VESTING DAY) ORDER, 1997

I, SEÁN BARRETT, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (2) of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1996 (Companies) (Vesting Day) Order, 1997.

2. The 3rd day of March, 1997, is hereby appointed to be the vesting day for the purposes of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), in relation to the following companies, namely—

( a ) Port of Cork Company,

( b ) Drogheda Port Company,

( c ) Dublin Port Company,

( d ) Dún Laoghaire Harbour Company,

( e ) Foynes Port Company,

(f) Galway Harbour Company,

( g ) New Ross Port Company and

( h ) Shannon Estuary Ports Company.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
