APPROVED BODIES (FEES) REGULATIONS, 1995.

I, MICHAEL LOWRY, Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 5 of the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act, 1995 (No. 17 of 1995) and after consultation with the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as Approved Bodies (Fees) Regulations, 1995.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1995.

3. The amount of the fee payable on application to be an approved body for the purpose of section 23 or 24 of the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act, 1995 , shall be £250.

4. Fees payable under these Regulations shall be non-refundable.

5. The maximum period for which a body may be approved for the purpose of these regulations shall be two years.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these regulations is to set an application fee for bodies which are applying to be approved bodies for the purpose of Sections 23 and 24 of the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act, 1995 and to set the maximum period for which such approval may be granted.
