REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTIONS 17 AND 18) (MEATH) ORDER, 1994.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 17 and 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Sections 17 and 18) (Meath) Order, 1994.

2. The existing Superintendent Registrars' Districts of Kells and Oldcastle shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Superintendent Registrar's District to be known as the Superintendent Registrar's District of Kells.

3. The division of the County of Meath into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows:

( a ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Crossakeel, Kells No. 1, Kells No. 2, Moynalty and Nobber shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Kells.

( b ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Castletown, Collon No. 2, Drumconrath, Navan and Painestown shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Navan.

( c ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Duleek and Stamullen shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Duleek.

( d ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Athboy, Ballyboggin, Innfield, Summerhill and Trim shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Trim.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Superintendent Registrars' Districts and Registrars' Districts in the County of Meath so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
