URBAN RENEWAL ACT, 1986 (REMISSION OF RATES) (CUSTOM HOUSE DOCKS AREA) (AMENDMENT) SCHEME, 1994.

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for the Environment by Section 7 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986) which powers are delegated to me by the Environment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 128 of 1993 ), I, EMMET STAGG, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, hereby make the following amending scheme:

1. This scheme may be cited as the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) (Custom House Docks Area) (Amendment) Scheme, 1994.

2. Article 4 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) (Custom House Docks Area) Scheme, 1986 ( S.I. No. 341 of 1986 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "commencing on the day on which the first planning scheme for the Custom House Docks Area is approved under section 12 of the Act of 1986 and ending on the 24th day of January, 1997" for "of five years commencing on the day on which the first planning scheme for the Custom House Docks Area is approved under section 12 of the Act of 1986".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This scheme provides for an extension to 24th January, 1997 of the closing date of the rates remission scheme applying in the Custom House Docks Area.
