FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (NO. 29) SCHEME, 1994.

AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, hereby makes the following Scheme:

1. (1) This Scheme may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 29) Scheme, 1994.

(2) This Scheme shall be operative from the 5th day of April, 1994.

2. In this Scheme—

"Scheme No. 28" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 28) Scheme, 1993 ( S.I. No. 97 of 1993 ).

3. The First Schedule to the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 20) Scheme, 1985 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1985 ), as inserted by Regulation 3 of Scheme No. 28, is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the First Schedule to this Scheme.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Scheme applies to the Foreign Parcel Post Service and shall be operative from the 5th day of April, 1994. It authorises changes in the fees which may be charged for EMS Courier items being sent to destinations outside the State.
