REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (WEXFORD) ORDER, 1994.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Wexford) Order, 1994.

2. The division of the County of Wexford into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows:

( a ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Bannow, Bridgetown, Crossabeg, Taghmon and Glynn, and Wexford No. 1 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Wexford No. 1.

( b ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Carrigbyrne, Fethard No. 1, Fethard No. 2, New Ross, Old Ross and Templeudigan shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of New Ross.

( c ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Bunclody, Clonroche, Enniscorthy No. 1, Enniscorthy No. 2, Ferns, Killane and Oulart shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Enniscorthy.

( d ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Camolin, Coolgreaney, Gorey, and Killenagh and Wells shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Gorey.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the County of Wexford so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
