REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTIONS 17 AND 18) (CORK) ORDER, 1993.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 17 and 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Sections 17 and 18) (Cork) Order, 1993.

2. The existing Superintendent Registrars' Districts of Bandon, Cork and Macroom shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Superintendent Registrar's District to be known as the Superintendent Registrar's District of Cork.

3. The existing Registrars' Districts of Ballincollig, Ballygarvan, Blarney, Cannaway, Carrigaline No. 2, Carrignavar, Dripsey, Riverstown, Templemartin and Whitechurch shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Cork No. 5.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Superintendent Registrars' Districts and Registrars' Districts in the County of Cork so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
