Obstruction.

64.—A person shall not obstruct or impede an authorised officer, harbour-master or receiver of wreck in the due exercise of any of the functions conferred or exercisable by such officer, harbour-master or receiver under this Act and a person who so obstructs or impedes shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable—

(a) on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding £1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or to both,

(b) on conviction on indictment, to a fine not exceeding £15,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or to both.
