PAYMENT OF WAGES ACT, 1991 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

I, MICHAEL O'KENNEDY, T.D., Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 14 (2) of the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 (No. 25 of 1991), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 (Commencement) Order, 1991.

2. The 1st day of January, 1992, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 (No. 25 of 1991), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 1st day of January, 1992 as the day on which the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 , comes into operation.
