WILDLIFE (WILD BIRDS) (OPEN SEASONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1991.

I, VINCENT BRADY, Minister of State at the Department of Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 8 and 24 of the Wildlife Act, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976), the Wildlife (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 156 of 1987 ), and the Finance (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1991 ( S.I. No. 45 of 1991 ) hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) (Amendment) Order, 1991.

(2) The Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Orders, 1979 to 1989, and this Order may be cited together as the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Orders, 1979 to 1991.

2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Order, 1979 ( S.I. No. 192 of 1979 ).

3. The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the insertion of the following entry in Part I:

Wild Birds	Open Season
Curlew	From the 1st day of November, 1991, to the 30th day of November, 1991, both dates inclusive.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to add the Curlew to the list of huntable species for the 1991/1992 Open Seasons from the 1st November to 30th day November, 1991 both dates inclusive.
