WORKER PARTICIPATION (STATE ENTERPRISES) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1991.

I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 (as amended by section 21 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1988 (No. 13 of 1988)) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), and after consultation with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Health, hereby make the following Order with respect to which, pursuant to section 4 (4) of the second-mentioned Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) (No. 2) Order, 1991.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 4th day of April, 1991.

2. The number of members of the National Rehabilitation Board shall be 20 and the appropriate number of those members shall be 4.

3. The Worker Participation (State Enterprises) (No. 2) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 337 of 1988 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to increase the number of members of the National Rehabilitation Board and the number of worker representatives to be appointed following election by the employees, to 20 and 4 respectively, in accordance with the provisions of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988.
