Amalgamation of employer's redundancy contribution with employer's social insurance contribution.

39.—(1) Each provision of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967 , mentioned in column (1) of Schedule C to this Act is hereby amended in the manner specified in column (2) of that Schedule opposite the mention of the provision in column (1).

(2) Section 2 of the Protection of Employees (Employers' Insolvency) Act, 1984 , is hereby repealed.

(3) This section shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1991.
